Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Digital downloads

This covers our Excel toolkits, IS-code handbooks and CAD drawing packs sold in the shop.

• You can ask for a full refund within 7 days of purchase, for any reason.
• One refund per product per customer. We may decline requests that show a pattern of abuse (for example, repeatedly buying, downloading and refunding).
• Once a refund is issued, the licence to use the files ends and you should delete your copies.

2. Pro membership

• Pro Annual (₹799): full refund if you ask within 7 days of purchase.
• Pro Monthly (₹99): not refundable once access has started, because it is a short trial-style plan. Failed or duplicate payments are always refunded (see section 4).
• Pro is a one-time payment for a fixed period with no auto-renewal, so there is nothing to cancel — your access simply ends on its expiry date unless you choose to renew.

3. Custom CAD & design services

• Cancel before work starts: full refund.
• Cancel after work has started: partial refund based on the work already completed.
• Delivered custom work is not refundable, but if it does not match what we agreed in writing, we will revise it until it does.

4. Failed or duplicate payments

If money was deducted but your order did not complete, the amount is usually reversed automatically by your bank or by our payment partner Cashfree within 5–7 working days. If it is not, or if you were charged twice, email us with the payment reference and we will refund it in full.

5. How to request a refund or cancellation

1. Email info@thecivilstudies.com from the address you used to buy.
2. Include your order number (from the order email or your account page). A reason is helpful but not required within the 7-day window.
3. We reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed through Cashfree to your original payment method; banks usually credit it within 5–7 business days.
